Refund Policy

At JoySelect, we stand behind the quality of our work and are committed to your satisfaction. Because our Services are delivered digitally and involve substantial professional time and expertise, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our team. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Nature of Our Services

JoySelect provides professional advisory and consulting services in the form of personalized gift curation, recommendations, and consulting reports. Our deliverables are digital in nature — they consist of professional research, expert judgment, curated lists, and written recommendations delivered via email or digital document.

Because our services involve the investment of significant professional time and proprietary expertise from the moment an order is placed — including research, analysis, and preparation of materials — refund eligibility is subject to the conditions described below.

2. Cancellation Before Delivery

If you wish to cancel your order before we have begun work or delivered any portion of the service:

  • Cancellation within 24 hours of purchase: You are eligible for a full refund (100%), provided that work has not yet commenced. Please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.
  • Cancellation after 24 hours but before delivery: If work has already begun, a partial refund may be issued at JoySelect's discretion, reflecting the proportion of work already completed. In most cases, a refund of 50% of the purchase price will be offered.

3. Refund Eligibility After Delivery

Once a service has been fully or partially delivered, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you are not satisfied with your deliverable, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and describe your concern in detail.

✓ Refund May Be Granted
  • Recommendations were materially inconsistent with the brief you provided (wrong age group, occasion, or budget despite accurate information supplied);
  • Service was not delivered within the agreed timeframe with no revised timeline communicated;
  • Technical errors resulted in delivery of incomplete or corrupted materials.
✕ Refund Will Not Be Granted
  • The gift recipient personally disliked the recommended gift (subjective preference is not a basis for refund);
  • You provided incomplete or inaccurate information that led to recommendations not meeting expectations;
  • You changed your mind after the service was delivered;
  • A third-party retailer was out of stock for a recommended product;
  • More than 7 days have passed since delivery of the service.

4. Our Revision Commitment

Before requesting a refund, we strongly encourage you to reach out to us for a revision. We are committed to delivering recommendations that genuinely meet your needs. If the initial deliverable does not fully address your requirements, we will:

  • Offer one complimentary revision to adjust or expand the recommendations provided;
  • Work with you directly to understand what was not satisfactory and how we can improve the deliverable.

Our goal is to ensure you leave every engagement feeling confident in your gift choices. We believe most concerns can be resolved through direct communication and revision without the need for a refund.

5. Duplicate Charges

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same order, please contact us immediately at info@JoySelect-gifts.com. We will investigate promptly and, if a duplicate charge is confirmed, issue a full refund within 5–10 business days.

6. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, please contact us and include the following information:

  • Your full name and email address used at checkout;
  • Your order number or confirmation number;
  • The date of purchase and the service purchased;
  • A clear description of the issue or reason for your refund request;
  • Any relevant documentation or correspondence, including the deliverable you received.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider. In many cases, we can resolve your concern more quickly than the chargeback process allows. If a chargeback is filed without first contacting us in good faith, JoySelect reserves the right to dispute the chargeback and provide documentation of service delivery to the payment processor.

8. Changes to This Policy

JoySelect reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Orders placed before any change in policy will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
